We are all thrilled thinking about getting together with you and the rest of our oil friends at our all day Reconnect Event on May 13, 2023. It’s being held at the world-famous Horseshoe Valley Resort (15 minutes north of Barrie, ON). You and your family might want to spend 1, 2 or 3 nights and make a weekend getaway of it. We are excited thinking about all the things we’ll be learning during this day of training and reconnecting.

We need your urgent response to our food arrangements for lunch.

The resort needs our quick answer before Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 3 pm. We may NOT bring any outside food or beverages into the building or into the outside restaurant sitting area, so if you have special food requirements, you’ll have to eat in your car at lunch. Please don’t try to sneak something inside. That means your personal water bottle is okay, but you can’t bring your Tim’s coffee cup or homemade granola inside. The Resort will have coffee, tea and water in the room for all. However, Horseshoe can provide delicious lunch solutions as well. If you’re planning to attend, we need everyone to tell us if they choosing to eat the buffet for $35, or making their own food arrangements outside of the event location.

If you’re attending, we need you to reply and fill out the Google form and tell us whether you prefer the buffet or you will make your own arrangements, and if you’re interested in a room at the Resort or not (see below).
If you have not sent your buffet order and EMT by Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 3 pm, you may need to make your own arrangements for lunch.

Since we are not allowed to bring outside food into the Resort, we will not be able to do the food demonstration or provide food samples outside of the NingXia Red samples.

FYI - In the Horseshoe Valley Resort there are 2 restaurants – Crazy Horse (attached next door), and Eleven 01 in the Hotel (across the road from the Alpine Event Room). In Craighurst (corner of Hwy 93 and Horseshoe Valley Rd, 5 minutes away), you will find Loobies and the Foodland Grocery Store. The Vetta Spa and Café is on the 3rd line (just before you go down the Valley for the Resort, 2 minutes away). However, with only an hour for lunch, it will be difficult to serve 200 of us at these other locations and return in time for the program, and the prices are similar to the buffet price above. So we’re encouraging everyone to use the buffet option and pay by EMT.

If you haven’t bought your ticket yet, they are selling out quickly. They are $35 between now and May 12, 2023, at 7 pm when registration closes. If you miss the deadline, and tickets are still available, you may buy tickets at the door for $40. To avoid disappointment, please buy your online tickets soon. On Saturday, May 13, 2023, please arrive at Registration between 9:00 am and 9:45 am. Program begins at 10 am and you may want time to mingle and visit the display tables.  

We’re excited to have Young Living Corporate participating along with us, including Brett Parker who is the Executive Director of Young Living Farms.

Parking is free. When you pull into the road entering the Horseshoe Valley Resort, turn right at your first and/or second driveway to the large parking lot at the bottom of the slopes. To find the Alpine Room, enter the building following the signs, go up the stairs (downstairs is winter ski rentals), and turn right to the Registration desk and the Alpine room. If you need wheelchair access, you can enter through the Crazy Horse restaurant (farther up the hill on the right) and once in the restaurant, turn right (staff will help give you directions to the Alpine Room. Then proceed to Registration at the other end of the Alpine room.

In order to receive the discounted nightly hotel rate, we need to have a minimum of 10 room requests, so fill out the google form above right away, and state your interest in reserving a room, or that you have other accommodations. When we receive 10 room requests, we’ll let those members know how to reserve their room.
